The Fernery can accommodate up to approximately 150 guests, depending on the ceremony layout, aisle width and styling. The venue should confirm the final capacity after reviewing the proposed setup.
Yes. The Fernery is designed for outdoor wedding ceremonies and can be adapted for western, civil, nikah and selected cultural formats. It can also be paired with an indoor function room for the reception.
Yes. Its greenery and outdoor setting provide a natural backdrop for ceremony, couple and family photographs. Lighting and weather conditions should be considered when planning the ceremony time.
Yes. Styling may include florals, aisle décor, chairs, signage, draping, candles or lighting. Any structures, installations or external suppliers must be approved by the venue.

The Fernery is best suited to wedding ceremonies, vow renewals, small cultural ceremonies and wedding photography. It is generally used before guests move to one of Ultima’s indoor reception rooms.
The Fernery is at Ultima Function Centre, 50 Exchange Close, Keilor East, Victoria. The venue is approximately 7 minutes from Melbourne Airport and has more than 200 on-site parking spaces.
An indoor ceremony space may be available as a wet-weather backup, depending on the event date, package and room availability. The backup plan should be documented before the event.
