Yes, we have microphones and lectern available for use, we require this information when you are booking your function

How many rooms do you have?

We have four rooms , each room has its own entrance and bridal suits

Do you have onsite parking?

We have 190 parking spots of our own and additional 110 (off street)

Do you have disabled access for the rooms?

Yes, we have access to the building via entrance ramps including dedicated disabled parking spots and disabled toilets for both rooms

Do you have cocktail lounge?

Yes, we have two large cocktail rooms.

Does your venue have baby change facilities?

Yes, we have baby change facilities.

Can i bring my own catering / alcohol?

Yes, we allow you to bring your own alcohol for an extra charge.

What is the next step once the deposit is paid?

Deposit of 20% ,30% mid way and final payment 2 weeks prior to event

Can we have a longer duration for our event?

Yes, you can have a longer event duration charges do apply.

Why is the dietary menu the same price as the standard menu choice?

As our dietary menu is based on a 3-course menu it is the standard menu options, the same cost per person is applied for the event.

When do we need to meet with you to organise and plan our function details?

We will meet with you approximately 3 weeks before your to discuss menus, decor, event schedule, etcetera. However, you are more than welcome to contact our team with any queries you may have in the months leading up.

Do you have drink packages?

Yes we offer 2 hours and 4 hour packages

Do you allow external caterers?

Yes we allow external catering.

Do you offer buffet menu's?

Yes, we do have buffet menu’s.

Am i allowed to bring in my own decorations such as balloons?

Yes, you are allowed to bring your own decorations.

Can we have a date set aside whilst we decide?

We hold your date for 4 days, If you would like to secure a date you are interested in, then we require a deposit to secure that date.

How long does an event go for?

Our events are held for 5 hour sessions.

Do you cater for specific dietary requirements?

Yes, we do. Guests who have allergies or specific dietary requirements will be catered for. We require all the information 2 weeks prior to your event date and an alternative meal will be provided (chefs choice).

what if we need to cancel or postpone our event date?

If you need to cancel the function date, the deposits are non-refundable.

when can we deliver items for our event?

Delivery of any items such as decorations, place cards, equipment and cake are accepted on the day only. All items must be collected and taken off site by the end of each event.

WHAT AN AMAZING FANTASTIC NIGHT.If there was a 10 star option, I would rate 10 stars.No request was too small, catering to all our whims ensuring drinks were always on the table. Food were also great and amazing. Always topped up and service was on point.The place, design and interior lights are all very unique and different. Having visited many different venues around Victoria, this site definitely is one which can hold your dream event all in one place (ceremony, canapés, reception) with spacious and well-designed ballrooms. Been here for a few functions, upmarket feeling venue with multiple ballrooms, tucked away in a corner of Western Ring Road and Kielor Park Drive.Freindly helpful staff, plenty of onsite off-street parking and a relaxed luxurious feel.

Nice big venue. Service was nice.Catering (not sure if it’s in-house) but was so underwhelming. Wish function venues such as these would invest more with their food, especially charging such an exorbitant amount per seat. And the seats felt like they were made of legos, squeaky and unstable. Speakers felt like it’s all busted base, and sounded like someone blowing, screaming and scratching on the mic.Btw the photo is a lasagne, which was cold in the middle, and tasted less friendly than the ones I bought from Coles.Sorry 😢

I had to pickup a guest but getting out of the parking area was problematic and took so long since it does not have a dedicated exit. The route for arriving cars for pickups interferes with those cars which need to leave the venue. It makes long delay.

Hosted a birthday here in the Pearl Ballroom which turned out to be the best birthday celebration I've ever had.The room was modern, tidy, and in a great location. Staff were friendly and attentive. Internal catering was excellent. Would recommend this venue for any celebration.Special thanks to Kim, one the managers who was very responsive and easy to deal with on such short notice. Thank you again for the wonderful night!

We had a wedding last week and were very enjoyed. Me and my partner were very worried everything as it was our first time, but Kim the coordinator who connect with us does fixed all of our worries. The team done a great job especially Casandra, she does and fix our request by all night long. Ceremony and reception were happens together but everything runs smoothly, we worried about the weather on the day as heavy rain the day before but we had a wonderful and great day! The food and canopies were amazing, not salty and very delicious. But the service of serving food might need to be improve, we do understand after the pandemic time, we believe that it will getting better after this;) At last, a big applauses to Kim, the team and chef at Ultima Function, will definitely recommend to others.
