Their Story
Some love stories begin with a grand romantic gesture. Mariam and Michael’s started with a Facebook friend request, back when chatting on each other’s wall was simply part of everyday life.
What began as casual online conversations soon became their first night out together in Melbourne’s city. Over time, that first meeting grew into a relationship built on friendship, laughter and unwavering support.
Michael added me on Facebook, and we started chatting on each other’s wall—back when that was still a thing.
After talking online for a while, we organised to meet in the city and go out to a club together. That first night became the beginning of everything that followed.
Ultima offered everything we were looking for in a wedding venue. It was reasonably priced, there were several room options to choose from and the location was convenient for all of our guests.
We wanted a venue that felt welcoming, flexible and easy for everyone to reach, and Ultima gave us exactly that.
We were fortunate to work with a wonderful group of suppliers who helped make the day feel completely our own.
We loved the traditional church ceremony and then celebrating with our friends and loved ones on the dance floor.
Those two parts of the day felt completely different, but together they made the celebration feel perfect—meaningful, joyful and full of energy.
The wedding day goes incredibly fast, so it is important to slow down and take everything in.
